J Stoner


Jihad “J Stoner” Mapp was born November 11th, 1993 in Staten Island, new york. Wrote his first rhyme at 9yrs old and decided to take it seriously at 13. Raised in a broken home, always traveling back and forth between parents. Through his travels, he’s been to places such as Houston, Dallas, Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, etc. Being around these different areas has made Stoner diverse to different rap styles. At 16 stoner released his first mixtape on DatPiff.com under the name “Young Luv” entitled “Dat New Skool”. At this time and until he turned 18 he was engineering and co-producing on his own. Over time his skill improved as he continued to release projects as “Young Luv”. Finally finding his own voice in music he came up with the name “J Stoner”, which stands for “Jihad is still the one no equal rivals”. Stoner shows the hip hop world he’s serious by releasing his first track “Ain’t Sh*t” on YouTube. He continued to shake the local hip-hop scene up with singles until he released his first project as “J Stoner”, entitled “S.T.O.N.E.R. (the free album)”. Releasing songs such as “Promises”, “Hungry”, and “F.M.C.”. Available now, stoner’s 2nd project “S.T.O.N.E.R. Ii” on DatPiff.com, with “My Time” and “Straight to the Bank” as two new singles off the mixtape. Currently, in the works of dropping another mixtape, #thestonedage, J Stoner has proven he is serious about his profession and is ambitious.
